I'm Stefanie Burkhart, founder and lead designer of KC Bloom, a wedding floral studio in Kansas City. I'm the wife to a handsome husband, mother to two adorable preschoolers, and primary snuggler of a fluffy puppy. My love of floral design began when I decided to DIY my own wedding - as they say, the rest is history. After almost 12 years in the corporate world as a proposal writer, I left my job in 2018 to pursue this amazing career, and now I get to pour my love into every wedding!

I consider myself a full-service event florist, meaning I work with couples through the entire planning process. We have creative design sessions at the venue, text photos back and forth, do a final walkthrough to make sure all of the details are locked in, and celebrate every phase of the planning process together. I always feel such sadness when the day is over because all of that anticipation is gone! It's such a joy to be a part of these special days.
